The Elfiq LB-1500E Link Balancer is designed to meet and exceed the needs for proactive bandwidth management and redundancy of small and medium sized businesses to enable link load balancing accross multiple ISP links.  With Elfiq’s exclusive Layer-2 design for inline transparent installation and utilization, organizations can manage sixteen ISP or private links with a total throughput of 90Mbps to ensure maximum uptime and added the performance of many ISP links without redesigning their network.

The LB-1500E enables the use of any ISP link including low-cost links, Quality of Service (QoS), traffic segmentation, SIP awareness, inbound traffic management and advanced balancing algorithms are included in the LB-1500E to provide optimized bandwidth and link balancing based on organizational requirements and policies.

The LB-1500E is designed to deliver maximum uptime for the organization with the use of Elfiq’s LAN Failsafe technology and the ability to use LB-1500E’s in high availability mode for demanding environments.

The LB-1500E enables the use of Elfiq’s bandwidth virtualization technology SitePathMTPX, which enables point to point application resilience with performance enhancement. This feature is ideal for site to site VPN tunnels and voice over IP (VoIP) deployments.

In datacenter environments, the LB-1500E can be used with the optional Inbound Geolink feature to enable traffic destined to multiple sites to ensure maximum availability and uptime of services, preventing downtime and costs should one site be unavailable or has its links saturated.
