Product Overview
The LB-550B enables the use of any ISP link including low-cost circuits such as DSL and cable modems and the use of wireless links like 3G mobile access and WiMAX as well for efficent link balancing. By combining links for incremental bandwidth, users of the Elfiq Internet Link Balancer LB-550B realize significant gains in productivity, uptime and a reduction of operational costs.

Like the Elfiq enterprise products Quality of Service (QoS), traffic segmentation, SIP awareness, inbound traffic management and advanced balancing algorithms are included in the LB-550B to provide optimized bandwidth based on organizational requirements and policies. Should the unit lose power, traffic is enabled to flow with Elfiq’s innovative LAN Failsafe feature.

The LB-550B can be upgraded to the LB-550E or the LB-1100E models through software should the needs of the organization require more ISP links, greater throughput, private link management and/or SitePathMTPX.
